Unik

I am having fun making background these days. If you want to know how I make them go to this post.

Papers and embellishments on this layout are from Heidi Swapp, Papirdesign (flair) and Studio Calico (clip)

My 4,5 year old usually put an arm in front of her when I take out my camera, but sometimes when I ask her to make faces - she plays along. The title is translated into unique - and she really have a unique sense for making faces - she is really expressive - in just a few seconds she can shift and just by looking at her I know how she feels - or here - acts...  She has no pokerface.... Her expressive personality partly is a result of having to face two languages every day when we lived in Sweden - Swedish in daycare and Norwegian at home which probably was the reason she didn't really speak until she was almost three and we moved home (for us parents) to Norway, during that summer she finally broke the speaking code. The expressions were here main communication with other people and since she was so good at it she didn't really have to say so much..

I made a layout in the fall that should have been on the Shimelle.com blog, guess they were pretty busy and just forgot it. Anyway - here it is.

Happiness...

The flair from Fancy Pants says Happiness is the journey - not the destination. I hope that will be some good words for Anea. Here she is almost 4 years old - dancing on the lawn - full of joy.  She loves to dance and sing (sing in a language only she understand...) and I hope that she will be her special self forever.

The yellow papers are from Crate Paper.

Alltid en prinsesse

(Inter)National Scrapbook Day (NSD14) today.  I had plans to scrap all day, but my husbands grandmother (104 years old) sadly died today so I only managed to make one layout so far.

I used a Studio Calico challenge for this layout #nsd2.   I used a Prima cling stamp for the first time and American Crafts Amy Tangerine Plus One.

You are my world

I am scrapping, but most are things to be published in Inzpira magazine, but here is a recent layout I made just for fun.  I have more layouts to be shown in May so I am not staying completely silent.  As some have noticed I have resigned from most of my scrap teams, I only kept Inzpira Magazine and Paper Issues. I needed something to force myself to not completely withdraw from scrapping. I am usually very motivated by assignments or challenges, but sometimes it just gets too much with deadlines.  I hope to return to full strength soon and hope to get back to scrapping as much as I used.
