Sweetie - Paperhaus magazine

Sharing my latest Paperhaus magazine layout

Valentines is just around the corner and I wanted to use some of the lovely Valentines themed materials to make this layout (Crate Paper and Fancy Pants) without focusing on the theme too much.

This is the finished layout.

I started with some distress stains in yellow and pink. and adding some drops of mist. I love working with layers and my opinion is that everything goes and you don't have to measure anything, just use your scissors and cut pieces in different sizes and start to layer them. I often use a staple to adhere the layers so that I can easily put pieces in between the main layers.

I used my old Silhouette to make the title Sweetie. Here I have used a light colored cardstock and then used a Distress Stain to get the pink color.

I also love to use vellum and transparent pieces when I scrap to get a different texture.

Thanks for stopping by - I hope I have inspired you to pick up Valentines papers and scrap.

  1. Love it! The layers are amazing and I love how you used valentines papers without making it about valentines!
